Gas fume odor

I have a 1972 350/450. I have a fuel odor in the cab as well as in the trunk. I have replaced the gas cap but still have the odor. I also have experience pressure build up in the tank. Could this be a problem with the fuel vapor tank? If not the vapor tank where do I start to diagnose this problem?

the tank isn't venting properly and the vapor pressure is probably pushing by the gasket that is on the sending unit, or possibly the vent tube that goes back up into the filler neck. check out youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5w7gFZScW4
and kent bergsma seems to also have a series on older chassis fuel tank maintenance.....

keep us posted
