300sl console problem

I just bought a 1991 300 sl and the cover in the console over the cassette i think has fallen inside. I found the end piece but i cant see the cover. Does anyone know how to take the console apart to either replace or repair this? Also where can i get the best looking headlights?

You have to take the center console wood off after which you can unscrew the center console (plastic) cover complete with armrest (Phillips screws inside the storage compartment box). Once you have taken off the complete center console, you can get to the screws that hold the casette holder and cover...

I have a set of euro headlights for the W129 SL in case you are interested (out of my own SL after I went for Xenons).
