SL320 Tranny Help
 

Hi! I have a couple of questions here about my SL320 which just grenaded it's transmission.

What is the most reliable transmission to replace it with?

and of course...

Where are some places that I might want to give a call to get a good price on a rebuilt transmission? I found German Star out of Arizona and they look very good on paper. Does anyone have any experience with them? Who else should I look at? A friend of mine told me about a place in Oregon called "Ron's Mercedes" but I don't know the town and directory assistance does not know.

DUH!! I left off some vital info. It's a 1995.

What year SL320 is it? Different transmissions for different years.
