What gives: 300SL 12 valves or 24?
 
I may be looking at the 12 and 24 valves R129, 1992 built. I was told the 12 valves has a lower maintanence cost than the 24 AND both "about the same" performance.

Personally, I prefer the 12 valves IF the maintanence is lower than that of the 24, all things being equal.

I need your opinions.
