Exclamation 107 Roll bar?

I will like to install a roll bar on my 1983 Euro AMG 500SL, like the one used on the Miatas. Does anybody know where i can get it? Do you have it in your car? any pictures? Thanks a lot.

Don't the 107 bodies have, in effect, a roll bar in the pillars and windshield? I recall reading this in one of the BM publications when I bought the car.

Windshield = Rollbar?

The A-pillars are particularly strong in the 107 chassis to protect the occupants in a rollover. So for safety, a roll bar would be redundant? At any rate, I feel it would sure look ugly. Way out of character for a car that has class and elegance.
