71 350SL euro (3.5L) - Should I do it?
Hi,
Im looking at a 71 107 350SL with the 3.5L engine, euro model. It has 391K! They said it burns a bit of oil, no leaks and runs strong. The price is good... If I get it, how hard will it be to get parts? Whatabout the dealer experience with euro cars? Any info is most appreciated. Thanks JMH

391K!!! I'd pass...
It's not that had to get parts for the euros, you'll need a good parts person and may have to do some homework on hard to find items.

If it is a Euro, that 391K is probably 391,000 kilometers, not miles. This converts to roughly 242,000 miles. Not too bad for a 31 y/o car.
Good luck. |
