Try E-Bay! They seem to have them from time to time.

This website has it for an incredible price (a set)

Good luck

If Phil at our sponsor Fastlane (888-333-4642) does not have it, try Tom Hanson at Caliber Motors (800-252-6877).

I got a new OEM replacement from Tom for my '88 420SEL for about $120 -- worth a try for the 450SL.

Hi,

Thanks for the compliment. What do you mean by the way they are set up? I just took the pictures on a beautiful day after it rained for three straight days!

I had so much work to do but I couldn't resist the temptation of driving my just washed car (I washed it then it was going to rain, so I rushed to garage it). On the way I stopped at a parking lot and took pictures around the car! But there was way too much light and the colors are badly washed out.

I wanna do another picture taking session when the sun is about to set..

Thanks

I just ordered the interior wood from eris-car and had them send it to my parents in Germany.
I'm leaving for Germany tomorrow and let you now what the quality of the wood is when I come back from my trip.
The price seems real good since I called Mercedes and their quoted the set for approximately $ 1,000.

Find a friend that likes woodworking for a hobby and have him/her make you one. I just finised mine and it looks good if I do say so myself. Lucky to have a lumber yard nearby that sells exotic hardwood. $22 for the wood,$6 for the clear spray, and stain that I had, blended to match.
Oh yeah,Iused about $1000 worth of tools, but the car's my wife's so now she sees why I bought them years ago.
good luck,
Don
