Dash Board Wood Restoration

Can someone recommend a shop to restore the wood on my 560 SL? Thanks.

Thanks. There was a place in NC that did it a lot cheaper on the MBZ.org web site. That web site is currently down, hence the question.

I just received a 10 piece Burl wood set for my 1980 model 450SL.
I paid about $280.00 for it and are very pleased with the quality.

I wish I'd seen this post earlier. I sent my pieces to Heritage...cost is 268....will update you when I get them back. Anticipating like new.

I got my pieces back from Heritage....they did an ok job.

When you say they did an ok job, do you mean it wasn't like new, but rather just average?

I said OK because it wasn't perfect...there was a bubble where the varnish had not quite taken on one of the pieces...I'm pickey about those things. Could I make them do it again..sure, but who has the time?

The rest of the pieces looked great...better than new.
