passed smog, removing muffler

hey guys... just passed smog today, and I wanna remove the middle muffler [it seems popular of 450 owners] and the cats ['cause I'm not gonna need them for a while]. Anyone know a good shop in san diego? any tips would be good too. thanks

Bergwerks is in San Diego, and they do a lot of high-end and tuning upgrades to Mercedes.

uh... I was thinking more along the lines of a cheap muffler shop that will cut it out and put pipes in. My bro did it on his 535 for 50 bucks or so, and I'm low on cash, so the cheaper the better!

ok guys... this is starting to get annoying! Everybody I call says they won't do it because it's illegal. [obviously] I know this! I'm starting to think I should tell them it's a 73 or something and that it doesn't need emissions stuff so they'll take the cats out. that or I'll just take the middle muffler out or somethin.
