Question Climate Control

My 1986 560 Climate Control AC seems to be acting strange. It does not seem to hold the temperature I set unless I set it at minimum cooling. If I set it at anything above Min it will start blowing Hot air after 10 minutes or so and then go back to cool. Is the Temperature sensor on the dash the culprit? How can I check that to see if it is working? Also, what is the easiest way to get to it? Thanks, Scott.

Randy, didn't exercise the manners to say this when I saved your post to my files before--but thanks for such a wonderfully clear guide! You've saved a lot of us a lot of bucks.
