speaker replacement

On a 107, how do you get to the driver side speaker (to replace it)?

From the Bottom

There are two very small screws on the bottom of the speaker grill. There are clips on the inside of the grill as well.

The easy why to access the screws is to first drop the knee bolster under the steering wheel. There are two small plastic filler plugs that you remove at the bottom and take a long (10') extension with a 10mm socket to reach the two nuts that secure the bolster. Then remove the two screws from the speaker grill and the cover will pry off from the bottom and tilt up and off.

If you are upgrading your speakers, Boston Acoustic makes one that fits perfectly. By the way, getting the grills back on in the front is a complete pain in the ass.

Smile Speaker Size

What size are the speakers in the Dash? I'm also looking at replacing the stock ones. Also does anyone know of a good location for a second set? Thanks

I believe they are 3.5"

as far as a good location, I just put some 6x9's on the rear bench because I don't use it for anything else
