Indicator light?
I have a 1975 450sl, on the instrument cluster between high beam indicator and tripometer reset button is a indicator symbol shaped like dot with a circle around it. Can someone tell me what this is for.
Thanks |

how about this?
(sorry about the glare) I think the earlier SL's had a different gague cluster, because I don't have the fuel economy gague like yours, and there are a few other differences. this is off a 78 450 SL |

Maybe?
Sounds like this could be the disk brake pad wear indicator. Just a thought.

The 78 450sl picture is very close to my dashboard arrangement. Where yours say's brake that is the location of my symbol. Thanks |

look at the next symbol to the right... it looks like a circle with some dashes around it... if you're talking aobut that, it's the brake pad wear indicator. Hope this helps.
