98 500sl soft top

My top does not latch in rear when closing soft top .I need someone to slightly push down on either side. Do I need an adjustment or is something else wrong? Please help!

Mike,
Does your top latch on one side and not the other? If so, I'd be inclined to think you may have a bad latch assembly.
