Value of non-original 250sl?

What is a really nice 250sl worth with a fresh 280sl engine?
It had all rust repaired, paint stripped and two tone paint
applied which is not the original color. The interior looks
really good, I don't know about the wood, though. The top
is equally mint.

Thanks for your opinions.

with convertible top only 13,000.. with addition htp 14,500 my .02

Well, I am paying about $16000. A Honda Civic is $13K
so I am a little higher than that, but the SL will be more fun.
