Seat Covers?
Anyone have a recommendation for a pair of hot looking seat covers for a '91 500 SL?
TIA. |

I would imagine there are few "tasteful" alternatives to the OEM leather seats, and as it stands, I have only heard of people installing sheepskin seat covers.

The best thing I ever found to cover any seat with is a hot 24 year old girl.

GB....I was thinking in terms of MB branded covers. My OEM leather is mint. |

Unless you go with Kip's recommendation, I think the genuine sheepskin covers are your best bet. I have them on my 1990 and at 13 years old, they still look pretty good. I have taken them off the last two summers and the leather seats look almost new.

Check out www.wetokole.com They have some of the hotest seat covers I've even seen and they costume make them for the SL's too. I like the black with red center panels. They slip on and off, so you can always go back to "formal" as necessary. Tod

Tried dealing with Okole by email, what a pain. Tec, I also like the red and black with a MB logo.
The client rep I dealt with insists I have to send pics of my seats as 1991 500's have different seats??? I've only ever seen one style of seats myself. Anyone aware that there are different seats? I'm going to try again but rather will try to go through Performance Parts. |
