AMG kit

About how rare would an AMG full body kit be on a 1986 560SL??? I recently purchased this car and I noticed it looked a bit different than a regular 560. Then, today, I looked underneath and to my surprise, I found: AMG and a part number in big letters on the bottom of the bumpers and side skirts. Note-the "body kit" is the same color of the car- "Champagne". As far as I know, this was put on the car when the guy I got the car from bought it, back in December of 85.
Take a look at the picture and tell me what you think. It seems rare to me. None on Ebay are like this.......Would this increase the value of my car any??

Looks like the AMG parts I just took off my car. They'll be on Ebay soon. I agree they are not common, which may be good for me.

I was too busy admiring Heribertos car to answer the question....uncommon yes, rare no!

The AMG trim pieces are still available so its only a matter of a car owner buying and installing the kit. Not too many have chosen to do so, but that doesn't make it rare....

Ok. Thanks everyone. I had never seen one on a 560 until I bought mine. But thenagain I don't pay that much attention to small stuff like that.
