Should I buy it?? Need some advise!!!

I have found a 1985 380SL in pristine condition. Here is what the seller has told me: "Black 2DR Convertible, 107,668 Miles, Automatic Transmission, 2WD, 8 Cylinders, Leather Interior, Excellent Condition. Well maintained, rust-free original vehicle. Has Rare features like European headlights and rear seat. The tires (Michelin Weather Wise Sport) are new, less than 200 miles. The hard top and soft top are excellent. Mechanically the car is A-1 with no issues. At the 106,000 mile service, I had the car inspected and replaced the entire exhaust system, the dual row timing chain, front shocks and rear stabilizer link. It has a clear title and I have service records that supports the overall quality. That's what she e-mailed to me. Also she never drove it in the winter. The car is unreal and "to good to be true". She is the original owner. It has always been service at the local benz dealership. What should I offer her? Also, any known issues with the car/year that I should be aware of? Any and all advise would be great!!!!

All the right sounds so far; you'd want to review the service records. If there's another good source where the car is for an independent inspection, you might consider it--although a complete verified service history takes a lot of the pressure off that point, IMHO.
What's she asking?
Cruise 380SL listings on collectorcartrader.com, at Roy Spencer's oursl.com site, and check Kelley Blue Book as well as Hemming's Old Car Price Guide for a few references on pricing.

I'd have another MB tech look at it and perform a thourough PPI.

A CIS system of this age becomes very tempermental. Lots of bushings and mounts to check for wear.

The rare European options could be simple add ons...but would be nice if delivered from the factory.
