R129 Fritzi hardtop hoist measurements

I bought a Fritzi hardtop hoist that I used for several years on my W113 230SL. Now I want to convert it to use on my SL500. The instructions that came with the hoist gave the lengths to adjust the front, sides, and rear straps. the instructions must be wrong, because the straps are way too short. What measurements should I use? Thanks.
