1991 300SL Sides Aircon DONT give cool breeze

the sides aircon by the doors dont give cool breeze ONLY heater, but the middles ones just above the stereo gives BOTH cool breezes and Heater. please let me know what may be the problem with this. is there a separate switch for the middle and the sides aircon. thanks in advance!
