61 will be 62 in November!!!!

Greatest car I have ever owned!

Drive it every day! Bought it when I was 59 and unemployed. Had to have it! Never looked back!

31 years old, and just got a 450SL a few months ago. My high school girlfriend drove a '74 silver/black 450SLC, her folks a '85 500SEL and it was during that time (we were 17 years old) that I drove that SLC all the time and grew to love it. Hence, I bought my own SL.

I'm 42 with a beautiful '76 450 SL I just bought. I'm letting mom drive it now.
Firends tell me it makes me look old. I have a new E class, but thought this car looked like fun. It was a blast to drive last weekend.

Youngest Owner

I'm 25 right now and I bought my '85 380SL from my Grandfather when I was 22.

Right now about 66% of my CC Debtis based on fixing my car. (I basically had to have all the old oil in the engine scrubbed out of it. The mechanics know my car on sight b/c of this).

Bought my 1st Benz @ 29, 89 560SEC. Have owned 3 others since and just bought a MINT 87 560SL(red) for the wife last month. The SEC was the best but this Sl is a real beauty and fun to drive. SO primitive compared to my 04 GTO, etc.

I'm 36 today. Bought my first ever Benz 3 weeks ago.....1990 500SL. Also have a 1989 500SL on the way from overseas in another month or so. Not sure what's gotten into me, just alway wanted to own one and now will own a couple. Started importing cars into Canada from Japan a year ago and now after selling half a dozen as a hobby, I will now have a couple to call my own.
Very happy to have found this site.
Here is a picture of them.

Jags and SLs are mistresses requiring lots of time, rubbing, and $.
Being much smarter now ... this one is my wife's and she thinks it is wonderful that I'm out there fixing her car!!!!! You have to love these cars .. for all they require they return it many fold.

I am 41.7 now.. bought my first MB (98 E320) 4 yrs ago.. and 85 380sl when I hit the big 40...( finally got the car fixed up.. the engine is so smooth now..)
I should have 3 right now but my dad sold his 79' 280 S (european model with a 4 bbl solex cab) in lime green (original factory color) for $500. in mint condition. needless to say .. didn't talk to him for a while....still upset about it..cause he is driving my E320 now...

I'm 75 and just bought my '87 SL, so now I'm feeling 18!!! Bought my '88, 420SEL about four years ago, and I've been a Mercedes fan since.
