pretty crazy how much was spent on gas alone...AGH!!!!!! It was fun writing this and reminiscing about my Sweet "Giulsie"....Thanks for listening! Peace & Love!

I just got an 86 300SL last week and I'm 63. Good to see I'm not the oldest and good to see some young whippersnappers out there like them too. Just think,Reagan was in office when my car was new, those were the good old days!

53, but bought the 560SL 15 years ago.

A friend just bought a 380SL lady year, and he's 50.

Ken: I am one of the old guys (66) and retired for one year from the railroad industry. I also have the mental mind of a 21 years old. I am not in the extremely successful group but am comfortable. This 1981 280 SL R107 definitely keeps me busy after it had sat for 10 years. Long live the old guys with the SL's.

To kick it off, here's my physical age: 55 (but a mental age of 21!)

Malibu Chevy..............

I no longer own my R-107....My 1980..450sl got me into a lot of trouble...the one only of the 4 formerly I owned MB's during the 1990's......I've sold all my loved Mercedes and now drive a modest Audi A6 avant. Driving the dark navy-blue w/ navy-blue top...light-grey interior...and with the later 560 wheels....people looked....Spoiled BRAT...and I felt the part! In Hollywood this car is called a MALIBU CHEVY! The places I drove this car caught big attention. I was poor and loved people thinking I was Hollywood..

I'm 31 and just bought an 85 380SL last night.

I've owned a few vintage MBs in the past, as early as my mid-20s...this is my first SL.
