Pirelli Tires
My good friend owns a Tire Center in my area. He has a set of Pirelli Ultra High Performence P7000 tires that are virtualy brand new for my SL. He took them off an SL that was changing wheel size. I presently have Continentals with only 3500 miles on the SL. I would appreciate any opinions on weather the Pirelli's would be a better tire in ride and performance. For the price he wants to charge me, it's almost getting them for the cost of mounting and balancing. Is it worth the trouble to change? The Pirellis are a better looking tire, and we all know that is certainly an issue to consider. Thanks,

Bruce,
Here's a link to Tire Rack's review section for the tire you mention. It's an excellent tool for decision making. Seems these tires are $107 each. If the cost is minimal I'd go for it. It's always nice to have an extra set...as long as they don't deteriorate to the point where you can't use them. http://www.tirerack.com/survey/SurveyComments.jsp?additionalComments=y&commentStatus=P&tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=P7000+SUPERSPORT
