Might sound a little dumb, but is there really a breast thread? If so, where? Thanks, Vincent |

Right after I posted, I found it. Love the 600 - an amazing automobile. Best, Vincent |

You should put a picture(s) of it on the forum. I'd love to see it.

It always starts on the first turn whether it is 100 degrees F or 10 degrees F. My 99 C43 is also reliable, in the 4 years I have had it, I've replaced one MAS and one O2 sensor and 1 battery. C280Wiz aka AL |

Mechanically I put about $800.00 in parts when I bought it about 4,000 miles ago.
Now I have to change the round drive connectors & the hangar bearing. Not bad for a 26 year old car that I can't even feel it idling. I now have total into the car with purchase price $8,000.00 and that is with buying a kinder seat for the back and paint for the rear from the doors back. The car now has 64,500 documented miles. Buy a new KIA and it will cost me more..Don't think I will do that. Jack |
I just read your string. I am having lots of issues with a '98 SL500. Mostly electrical but still very expensive!!

Would you say this is true in your case? |
Try buying a 600SEL (W140). A rebuilt engine can go for upwards of $30,000!:behead:
