Somewhere on one of the forums I read, someone out there mentioned that SEM plastic and vinyl color coat in Shadow Blue is a match for the blue interiors in the 107 SLs. Thank you! Thank you! You were entirely correct. I ordered it for a dash cap I bought that was slightly off in color. (haven't had the nerve to install it yet, since the imperfections in the original were so slight. I filled the cracks with a filler from Leatherique and touched them up by spraying the tip of an artist's brush with the above mentioned paint.) After reading the directions on the can, this stuff is also for use on short nap carpets, velour, etc. I used it on the vertical carpet in the compartment behind the seats and it worked great. That was the only place in the entire interior that wasfaded. I hope this may help any others out there with 107 blue interiors and again many thanks to whoever posted that info originally.

I used the SEM paint to redo all the interior plastic pieces in my slc and they came out looking brand new. The paint won't stand much cleaning but with a little judicious masking the piece can be resprayed in place.
