Replacement Driver's Side Mirror Glass
 

When I took delivery of my 1986 190D 2.5 in Germany I was able to buy an OEM Mercedes Benz labeled replacement heated mirror glass for the driver's side, that had about the first 1/3 of the mirror shaped differently (sort of convex) so it gave a wide angle view of the left side of my car and the blind spot that invariably exists at your left quarter panel. The rest of the mirror was normal.

I don't drive my 92 SL often on the freeway, but I notice that no matter how much I check mirrors and twist around, there is a severe blind spot on the driver's side. Getting almost clipped this past weekend as I merged onto a beltway here in LV, has made me even more aware of it.

Does any one know whether such a replacement mirror is made by MB or aftermarket to fit the 92 SL?
