Guys, what car do you use everyday?

hello all :) as the title says, what are your workhorse cars? your daily drive? :)

let me start:

daily drive cars: 1995 Toyota Corolla (manual everything including steering!!) very reliable and seems to last forever :) and a KIA sedonia! cheap parts and i can fit buttloads of stuff in it!

I have a '90 BMW525im for local use, a '89 325iC for the wife's daily driver, and a '97 Mercury Villager (Quest) for the long-hauls.

1986 560SL for daily use when I have to; when the sun is shining, Ducati 900.

My SL500 and I go everywhere together. Well, we go about 25k miles a year together and it's my only car. Although I fancy a W124 300D, an older Range Rover, or maybe my brother's smart roadster when he sells it.

I drive my 420SEL all the time. It is my "daily driver" car. Only has 143k miles and never gave me a problem

Love my TE. It's the car of choice in this weather especially, but when the sun comes out the SL is coming out.:D

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited...love it.

91 500SL is my year 'round daily driver (except when it is particularly icy here in central New Jersey -- then I occasionally commandeer my wife's Acura). Can’t wait for the spring warm up and the chance to take the hard top off again …

Hey Bruce, you're a Jag man as well! Nice car. Was this a replacement for your totalled MB?
---

I drive an immaculate 91 Daimler, with reluctance.

We've always had a 'rain car' - an older getaround vehicle that helped keep the miles off our other garage queens, and for when it rained.

In the past that was a black 91 Honda US wagon, a station wagon assembled in Ohio I believe. Like all my cars it was immaculate - not really a beatup.

But I gave that to my daughter, so now we have none.

With a 99 SLK coming in the next couple of weeks to replace my wife's MX5, and with only a two car garage, my Daimler will have to sit outside.

Not good.

However I've figured that with my wife working, I can put the Daimler in the garage each morning and out again in the evening so that at least it will be protected for most of the day for 5 days of the week.

Fortunately it's sun that does the damage, not the moon.

I had an 88' XJ6 before i got my benz. Jags are great but when problems arise, you will have to spend a fortune fixing it. Thats y i sold it and got a benz!

You should have bought from 1990 on... under Ford's ownership ALL the problems were fixed. My Daimler has run without missing a beat or costing a penny in repairs.

I didnt have many probs except the brake ball accumulator, repeated change of the hydraulic fluid and rear suspension(My garage wall fell on it. could that be the case??) , otherwise all was ok. The only thing I didnt like about the 1990's were the automatic seatbelts. I mean, you find that in a dam toyota. Y put in a jag??? They should of kept the conventional belts and put dual airbags or sumtin

Currently driving our daughter's Jetta for the winter, as she's not allowed a car at college her freshman year; just a few more weeks until it's sufficiently salt-free to get the Benz out!:D

For next winter--not sure, but probably a used Saab 9-5 or Audi A6; I really liked the Saab wagon that went away last Spring.
