Does anyone know the proper points to jack up a 107 SL? Is there such a thing? I have a floor jack and jack stands.

Are you referring to changing a tire (rotating yourself) or do you need to get under for maintenance?

To do work, primarily. Sometimes to change oil, bleed brakes... The car is lowered so it is necessary to jack it up for anything under the car.

If the car is lowered, the only choice you have is to get a floor jack with a low-profile saddle which will slide underneath it so you can jack it up at the crossmember in the front and at the pumpkin in the rear. ------------------ Rgds, Aaron Greenberg MB technician Precision Motorcars, Cincinnati, Ohio '67 250SE Cabriolet '77 450SL '80 300SD '85 380SE '86 420SEL '89 420SEL '93 300E 2.8 '74 Jensen Interceptor Mk.III '81 DeLorean DMC12 '84 BMW 745i Turbo |
