Restorato Almost Complete-Little Engine Question

Hello gentlemen, we are almost finished with the amateur restoration of a 230SL. It looks pretty good and we learned a lot. The entire job was done in the garage with no pieces leaving except the seats. All that said- we are seeing water vapor from the air-vent line to the air intake as we were running the car to put in freon. I'm in hopes that it is because the car has sat so long, but would like some opinions. If you would like to see our progress our website is:

thank you

I wish I could help, but my last major restoration was with my VW (no A/C ;) ).

Great historical capture of the progress! Takes guts to take on such a task on your own...I farmed out paint and upholstery and engine on my VW attempt  , so I guess I really didn't do much of it except for reassembly.

Dave,

Nice work!

Can you shed light on the spray booth setup? Also, may I ask what the seat reupholstery cost and if you were satisfied with the work? You can PM me if you're comfortable telling me.

Thanks!

BTW, 113 based SLs are my favorite of all...by far.
