Check slipping headrest motor
I would like to see whether I can fix the slipping headrest adjustment in my orthopedic seats. (The motor operates fine, but does not move the headrest up unless I help. It moves it down OK.) There is a sort of cover over the top of the assembly, starting just above the lever that releases the seat back. I have removed the plastic cover immediately under the lever. The top part of the cover that covers the motor assembly and seat belt anchor point is happy to come away, but not the bottom part. I do not want to force the bottom part. I can't see any screw or other item that might need to be undone. Should I just pull harder?

Don't pull harder...
The cover is secured with three screws: (1) on the left front, (2) on on the lower right side, and (3) at the top. If you can pull the upper part of the cover away as you say, then the point at which (3) attaches is probably broken. Pulling any more will only break the other two securing points.
Accessing these three screws requires that you remove both seat cushions as well as the piece which covers the entire side of the seat.

It was just stuck.
Forgot to reply giving the ultimate outcome. There is a sort of nylon sleeve around the worm drive shaft. For whatever reason, it was stuck. This was a situation where a short, sharp, tap of a hammer cured the problem. It's been working perfectly since. Thanks for giving the clues about how to open it all up.
