1985-380SL Steering Box
Hi All

There is a place in San Diego that sell rebuilts on e-Bay for $295. I put one in about a year ago and it works fine. I would guess 2-3 shop hours to replace it. It is not a bad DIY, though.

Joe,
You may want to consider replacing the steering coupler or adjusting the gear box before making the investment. Some have had good luck. A search will yield others' experience. |
