Lambda control unit
 
[SIZE=3]Does anyone know where the lambda control unit is located in a 1981 380 SL?

I believe that it's under the carpet in the footwell on the passenger side, forward of where the passenger's feet go (the section that slants upward). It's screwed to the other side of a panel that is about a foot square and held in by phillips screws.
