Where can I get a trunk/boot lid for a W107 SL?

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to perchase a trunk/boot lid for a W107 SL? I was after one without the holes in the rear for mounting the back spoiler.
On the same note if anyone has a second hand one for sale I would be interested also.

Try adsitco.com. I don't know if they will ship to Oz but give them a try. I have their latest catalog and they list an sl trunk lid used for $250 and new for $495.

Damian, I have a decent trunk lid off of a 76 450 SL but the shipping to Australia might be prohibitive...not sure if it would be worth it. Let me know.

I buy most of my Merc parts from Startech in NZ - they will ship to Oz and are fantastic to deal with (I should be on commission - or at least a discount).

I bought a brand new boot lid from them last year for about $700AUD which from memory was substantially cheaper than MB - and heres the kicker - it was genuine. I think he sources NOS from Germany and a lot of second hand stuff from Japan.

I just managed to pick up a second hand 88 300sl boot in very good condition. Unfortunatley before I read your reply, a new one at $700 would have been a better deal but thems the breaks.

Whereabouts in Oz did you get the 300SL boot lid?

I need some interior trim pieces to finish one of my 350SLs that I havnt been able to find. Doesnt seem to be anybody wrecking a 107 model SL anywhere here

Unfortunately I think he wants to sell the interior as a complete pakage, but you can try him if you like. The car he is wrecking is an 88 300SL. Will tells me it is in very good condition, apart from the front damage of course.
If the boot lid is anything to go by it should be.

Thanks for the information. I got in contact with Will this morning. He has quite a few bits I need. Looks like I might have to make a trip to Melbourne.
The complete interior sounds interesting .... will depend on condition and price.
