I want to replace the power seat control (memory numbers have rubbed off)on my 1991 SL. This is a project I would like to do myself. Can anyone direct me on how to remove the (drivers side) interior door trim panel. I've done it on a 107 (with instructions). So, I'm sure I can do this, but would like instructions. Thanks.

Do a search first for "window" or sliding jaw".

Actually the wooden piece with the switch in it comes off without pulling the door panal. If my memory serves me correct, you first have to pop the locking lever off, pry it towards the front of the vehicle. After that remove the black panal behind the lever by removing 1 screw. There after you move the switch panal towards the front of the vehicle compressing the springs until it releases.
