1985 380sl runs lean

need help my car will not pass ny state emis. test
it runs to lean. The car idles at 500 rpm with a
slight idle surge + or- 25-50 rpm It had a major
tune up ,timing chain, exhaust system and 02 sensor.What do I check next?
