cruise control amplifier 92 500sl

does anyone know the location of the cruise amplifier on this car? thanks!

It is located among the group of control modules under the plastic cover just in front of the windshield on the passenger side. You will find it right behind a small, silver module labeled "MAS".

I'm not positive, but I believe if yours looks like the one in the photo, it also controls the idle and will provide diagnostic information. If it is smaller than the one pictured and is black with an all plastic case, then cruise control is its only function and diagnostics are unavailable.

the cruise amp is the computer in the system and the most common part that fails.
