1974 240D parts Car South Carolina $750
Lowered price, plan to dismantle and sell parts on eBay if no interest. I would like to sell my 1974 240D.
The engine , 4 speed manual transmission and rear drive work well. It has a battery less than a year old. It has a new left rear brake caliper. It was a daily driver until the heater blower stopped this April. It has a lot of rust in the driver side floor boards and trunk. I need the wheels off it to return to my 1972 250. I'm not sure, maybe some of the mechanics on the board know. In a '74 the glow plugs and starter are activated by pulling a knob on the dash. I know that is different. The oil filter housing on the '74 goes down at an angle and the cannister on your '79 goes up.

I just got home with the car.
A little over 700 miles since 6:30 this morning but I think it will be worth it. I don't think you should have any trouble selling the 72, it looks to be in fair shape. If you have a problem finding biobor to use in the w123 just let me know. Thanks again, Brian
