Just removed from my 1992 2.5 litre 300D Mercedes. It works just fine. It was a misdiagnose from my mechanic. I bought a new one for $363.00 and had it installed to find out that what I needed was a compresion spring. Oh well, my loss is your gain, if you need this part, now is your chance to get it cheap, I am asking $49.00 plus shipping. The MB part number is 000 074 46 88. Looks like it might fit on the six cylinder diesels, the 603 engine, you will have to check that one out.
