I picked up a pair of euro headlights on a recent TDY to France (HAD to hit the junkyards!) and as I'm selling my 300TD, I decided I really don't need them. Buy the car (cheap -- in the cars section) and they're free. Otherwise, I have about $120 in them and would like to get that back out of them. They are the adjustable variety, of course. Flaws: one has a amber-ish tint to it foglight, one does not (is this by design? They came off the same parts car...), and one's reflective cup for the headlight bulb needs either cleaned or resurfaced, as the reflective stuff ain't so reflective anymore. No cracks in the glass or anything like that, though.

Do you have some pictures? Are they both Hella? That brown color you are refering to is where the aluminum vapoization coating is coming off. That happened to one of my reflectors, I bought a new one and put it in my euro assembly.

France at the time required Yellow fog lights, thus all mercedes sold in france by law must have yellow fog lights. The car must have had a broken light at one point and the owner purchased a non-french euro light to replace it.
