Gauging Interest: 16-inch AMG Aero II replicas (7,5x16 ET37)

ShopForum members,

In the process of rearranging the vehicle modification budget to accommodate a transmission rebuild. I have one item not yet installed on the E420 that I'm willing to part with if the price is right -- 16-inch AMG Aero II replicas manufactured by respected German aftermarket company INTRA Automotive GmbH (http://www.intra-wheel.de/).

These wheels are in 100% mint condition in the original boxes, and come with a full set of lug bolts. Finish is silver painted with machine polished rim. Pictures available upon request if interested.

Specifications
***************
INTRA Fleischmann + Wacker GmbH
Rad/size 7,5x16 ET37
Wagentyp/application DB
zubenhor/fitting 031/1064 ABE/Gutachten beachten DK-Horn
wheel-typ 7516

Pricing
*******
Current pricing from Bekkers: $189 USD per wheel

Obviously seeking less than sticker price, make a reasonable offer if interested.

Thanks for reading,
-DM

Will this fit E420 (W124) since E420 has a really large front brake.

Before purchasing them for my own E420, I did a lot of research both on this forum and elsewhere. Have I mounted these with tires to find out? No -- because these could not be offered in new, unused condition ;-)

The original importer (Bekkers) claims they fit perfectly, even better under the fenders than the current Intra ET35 replica they stock. The RH Alruad 8-hole 7,5x16 replica is spaced at 37mm. The ASA Type 8 wheels offered by Tire Rack are offset 38mm (i.e. closer to the struts than mine). A member on this forum (ksing44) has the original AMG wheels these are based on, mounted perfectly on his 95 E320 with the same front brakes. I have also read that anywhere from 41mm to 35mm is a perfect fit for the 7.5-inch wide wheels.

In other words, the evidence tends to point in that direction

Do you still have these wheels? I see your listing is from October.
Please let me know.

Greetings carntrucknut,

Decided to keep the wheels for myself; at least one of my original wheels has developed a permanent wobble. It must have happened when the front of my car dove towards the centre of the earth (i.e. massive pothole).

I do still have the mint W202 sport alloys available though, if you know of someone in the market :-)

If the C280 Sport wheels you have are the 15" AMG monoblocks from the 96-97 w202 sport, let me know, I have a sport model and would like to have a second set of thees wheels since they are becoming harder and harder to find unless i spend BIG $$$ at the dealer. Would like to have them as back-up in case some of my wheels get curbed badly or bent. If they are still avail. let me know. Thanks!

Greetings,

These are eight-hole wheels with the polished (machined) finish like the late-model W124 "special edition" wheels. Although not the miniature monoblocks, these are in great condition and still available. If you know of someone in the market for upgraded wheels for their 124, please let me know.

Pictures of each wheel at: FS: Eight-hole W202 polished alloy wheels (4)
