FS: Various W126 Parts...

Hi folks,

I used to be a member on this forum, until I sold my Diesel, so I asked the Webmaster to delete my user name. I used to be "MapleLeaf", as some of you may remember.

I'm selling some items that are taking up room in the garage, I will ship C.O.D. to Senior Members only. OR, I can post the items on ebay so we can conduct the transaction thru there; I have an excellent seller rating.

Anyhow, I have the following items for sale... if anyone's interested:

-Aluminum Wheels&Tires: from a '97 SL500, mounted on Michelin Pilot Sports (225/55/16) with good thread left. I've included a picture of the car to give you an idea of what they look like mounted. The car was dirty in this photo, but you get the idea. They bring much added improvement in steering and cornering of your W126. The difference is night and day, plus, they give the car the "custom factory" look without making it look ghetto.

FIRST $400.00 takes them away. Buyer pays shipping
(Shipping on East Coast is approx. $100-110. West coast will be around $180, using FedEx)

-Spacers by Gil Racing: The best spacers money can buy, I paid $325.00+tax+shipping. Well worth the money, these spacers are 25mm(approx 1 inch) thick and will give you the desired offset to mount a newer MB wheel onto an older MB vehicle. The spacers are 5x112 MALE&FEMALE. NOTE: YOU WILL NEED THESE SPACERS TO MOUNT THE ABOVE MENTIONED WHEELS ON A W126 OR W123. ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME NEWER MB WHEELS ARE 5X114, SO PLEASE BUY CAREFULLY. Like NEW condition, they come with all mounting bolts. Go to www.gilracing.com for more information on the product (Scroll to the bottom of the main page and click on Mercedes).

Spacers, $200.00 FIRM. Buyer pays shipping.

-603 Fan Clutch by BEHR: Like new condition, still in original box. Bought from FastLane less than a year ago for $200+tax+shipping. HAS BEEN STORED STANDING UP.

Price: $120.00. Buyer pays shipping. Will include 2 oil filters & New Belt Tensioner Spring with purchase. (for the 603)

Thanks to all.
-Mike.

Yes, I do miss the car quite a bit. I just couldn't watch as it slowly died. By the time I sold it, it was burning 1qt of oil every 80 miles! Besides the engine, this car was mint. If I had a 603.96 instead of the 603.97 in that condition I never would've sold it.

Ok, I'll let the wheels go for $350.00 + Shipping. Then they're going on ebay!

Hey, Hatterasguy, I'm doing fine, thanks!
I'm glad to see that the Shop Forum is still going strong. It makes me want to buy another MB diesel. My wife will probably leave me if that happened. Hmm....

Anyhow, the Fan Clutch is (probably) sold, I'm just waiting for a check from one of the forum members. I'll let you know.

P.S> Anyone need a rebuilt 603 injector? (With new BOSCH nozzle)
Have receipt to prove rebuild.

Thanks, they handle even better!
As for the fan clutch, it is sold. (Sorry Hatterasguy )

Rims and spacers still for sale, though! Someone make me an offer on both of them! I want them out of my garage, please!
