What part of CA are you in? Also, what would you be charging?

Thanks!

Other than the tranny, what shape's the car in? Do you have any pics? Any details would be greatly appreciated.

I just had an idea...

Thanks!

It's in mediocre shape, the engine is strong, all the windows work, there's rust around the trunk, but out of the four I've had so far I liked driving it the best before the tranny gave up, I think it's been lowered from stock height, I'll try to get some pics up...

I'd like to see some pics...was thinking on the lines of using it as a daily driver (after putting in the tranny out of my 123), although the condition may not make it worth the effort, to be honest...

Dave, if you decide to go for it and want an extra hand, I would actually be up for that...can always use the experience

123-126 Transmissions

I have a transmission from a 126-300SD.. It is in good condition...But I am in Indiana. KNOW ANYONE GOING WEST. I thought the 123 transmission was similar but has a mechanical tach and the 126 has a electronic tach plus other minor changes...Any thoughts abouts differences and are their any???????????

Yeah, I've got a question in on the diesel forum about the differences, but have heard info that one can change out tailpieces where the tach and speedo hook up...What would you want for it?
