You have an excellent opportunity to learn how to take these cars apart. If you break something it is not the end of the world.

A note on the door panels. There are plastic tabs that hook into the door and will break if you pry out on them. You must lift up on the door panel to remove it without breaking it. There are plastic tabs are on the door pockets and the arm rests.

Yes the strikers fail at the small black (rubber) or tan (plastic) insert. I use a set of socket allen wrenches to remove the four bolts holding the striker (4 mm I believe) - and even so some PB blaster is sometimes needed. I have a drivers side striker and perhaps a passenger side also- let me check tommorrow. Buy Kamils unless he needs it, then I'll get one for you.

Thanks for the great deal, didn't realize it was you until after the auction!

By the way do you have the back speakers, if in good working condition I take them, could do one shipment.

Kamil,
I'm looking for a door vacuum lock element for an 82 300TD (believe it's the newer style), an old style window switch (chrome/black) for center console, and a drivers door release lever for the inside... didn't see any of these on your auctions.. any luck?
