Parting 300SD 116, and 500SEL 126
 

I have to clean up my yard. Parting out a 1980 116 300SD, and a 1984 126 500SEL euro. The SD has no engine, and the drivetrain and suspension are out of the SEL. Let me know if you need anything, these cars will be going to the crusher in the next couple of weeks. They are located near Seattle.

What color interiors? Veneer near the shifter any good on the SEL?

The SD has brown MBtex. Covering is good, but the seats have the usual stuffing problem that makes them look deflated.

The SEL is grey leather. Driver's seat has a worn panel on the seat back on the edge by the door, and the rears have a couple of seams that need to be restitched. The leather is stiff, but I think it would be ok with some leather treatment. The veneer is burlwood, and looks good. No cracks or delaminations, could use a good polishing.

FMM, I have a 1989 300SE that may need replacement window washer nozzles.

Do you think that the SEL nozzles are the same and are in working condition?? Not plugged up etc????

Euro Headlights from the SEL? Are they original Bosch? If so and in good condition I am interested.

No, unfortunately someone changed them to US lights.
