WTB: W126 headlight assembly, bumper, hood, fender

I drove into a post over Thanksgiving in icy conditions and have wrecked the passenger front side of my 1990 300SE

Ouch!
I need a headlight assembly, front bumper, front fender, and hood.

Color

I have a passenger side fender and a hood with grill....I might have 2 different colors...chocolate and silver....I might have a bumper and headlight assembley in a couple weeks. I am asking 170 for the fender and hood and if you need the grill add 55 dollars. I can meet you in Terre Haute any day this week and if you want to wait a couple weeks I can get parts up to Danville,Illinois which is 130 miles south of Chicago. Jim

W126 parts

Sounds good! Not sure if there were mid-model facelifts, but can you let me know the year of the car so I can check with the body shop person if these parts will fit as is? Also the price you would like for the headlight assembly and bumper. Also, is it a full bumper with the 2 shock absorbers, the cladding, chrome, and fiberglass innards? And does the hood and fender have dents? That would require extra labor. Also, do you have a fender apron and radiator upper tie bar?

I'll try to wait until you have everything then I'll come get them.
Thanks

The bumper will be the same but the headlights changed in 1986...fenders and hood, and grill should be the same...Jim

W126 fender

Thanks,

Is it possible to get just the fender to start with? I'm thinking of getting a fender and apron to attach it to the body.

Pete

Pete -- just wanted to chime in and say that I have dealt with Jim before and have always been completely satisfied. I'm sure if ever you have a problem with a part he provides he'll make it right for you. Proceed with confidence!

W126 R Fender

I want to start with the Fender since that bore major damage. I may be able to pack in a headlight assembly, which I just bought on eBay, to tide me over.

Can you let me know the Fender and bumber prices as I may be able to have the body shop hammer the hood.

Also, do you have a tie bar that apparently welds in above the headlight an connects to metal by the radiator, and the thin panel below the headlight?

Thanks,
Pete
