Dealer wanted $700 for a new pump.
No service parts were available for the pump unit, just replacement. So I opened mine up. Nice high quality Bosch parts, but there were some wear items. I made a batch of replacement parts and so far I've done mine and two others.

Takes about two and a half hours to rebuild one, and I gotta recoup the money I spent on the new parts.

I thought about getting a couple of junkyard units and rebuilding those so I could offer a direct swap, but there are several ones and they don't all interchange even though they use the same core pump guts.
