wtb: 126 interior parts

well, my 85 380se (euro) was broken into thursday night and the brilliant thief totally screwed up my car in the process of stealing my radio. hopefully, someone is parting out a 126 and may have some of the following parts:

1) center counsel (navy blue)

2) where the center counsel meets up with the dash, there is a padded piece that is under the center air vents (between the center counsel and the vents) - i need this piece (navy blue)

3) lights that fit in the bottom of the door panels (front) for driver and passenger side.

4) rear light switch

5) sunroof switch

this is a euro car so it has the dual temp dial's and vent selector / fan switch (non ACC) and i know it is a long shot but i also ned the following parts:

6) wood panel that holds the heater controls and switches. the one i need has 5 switch holes on the top row and 1 switch hole (plus the holes for the two temp dials and the vent selector / fan controls) on the bottom row.

7) left temp dial

8) right temp dial

9) vent selector switch (with cables)

i need parts that are in very good to excellent condition (my interior was in great shape) - hopefully some of you may have be able to help me out (for a price, of course).

thank's for reading this and thank's in advance for your help.

There is a 1985 420 sel

the pic-npull by me put out a fantastic 1985 420sel with blue interior last week could be trashed by now or might be still in great shape would the parts except maybe the Ac panel fit your car I am going there today hopefully I will see if there still as great as when it was first put out cost for every thing including shipping to lower 48 states should be under $200. The interior on this car was stuning it still had its tool kit, emergancy triangle that mounts to trunk lid the owners manual service records and never opened first aid kit. I would say it was a garage kept car the one thing wrong with it was I dont think the timing chain and gear belongs sticking out of the valve cover,

take some photo's of the wood or woodless area you need- I have several euro w126's here in florida to pull from- but wood is a tough desription- really need photo's to match you up. I just pulled two pristine front seats from the car you need today I think.

That sucks supercreep! Where was the car parked? Did you have the faceplate removed? Does that even matter? Was the car unlocked? Damn theives, all that for a $130.00 Sony! They do not realize or care that these old cars are hard to find replacement parts for and some you can not even buy new even from Germany.

Makes me want to keep my Becker Grand Prix cassette, if I do install my used Blaupunkt, I may install the ashtray under it, have it so It will pull out so the potential theif will not tear anything up, I may leave car unlocked also.

Good luck, I feel your pain

Do not kick yourself, I have heard they will break in thinking the faceplate is in the glovebox or under the seat.

Do not rule out SEM Color Coat flex aerosol spray at NAPA, ect. to use to match stuff if you can not find Navy colored parts. I and others have used SEM with good results.

I would just about bet this was done by teenagers. No "professional thief" would have done that much damage to the console! I would ask around the neighborhood about this. One thing I have learned being a teacher for 15 yrs. is that most kids will not keep their mouths shut for long! May not do you any good other than to know who it was and, possibly, get the parents to ante-up.
Did you try European Connection in Falmouth, KY? They would most likely have what you need. Give them a try.
