BEWARE-Watch this guy!!! Lee Promised me and a friend the motor, transmission, and seats, we agreed on his price(no haggling over price) told him we wanted the parts and would be up this next weekend for the parts. Now he says he has someone else that will buy the parts and he can get more money for them, but if we'll send him a deposit by paypal confirming his new price, we can still have the parts. Seems like this guy is short on ethics to me. Lee, if you wanted to run an auction, put them on Ebay. See note below from his previous post:

For some of this I agree with this gentleman. The problem is they didn't
want to give me the time to pull the other parts I needed to make my money back.

So in essence they wanted to load up the whole car, for the price of mint seats, door panels and a perfect drive train with 111k miles on it.

My reputation on the NissanInfinitiClub nicoclub.com is impeccable, so is my reputation on ebay.

I just felt that these two men, wanted my whole car and wanted to get it quick without allowing me to get my parts. I even asked if the two would spend some time helping me to part it out.. and then they could get all of their parts. That was met by no response. The truth is they wanted their parts for $1000.. their offer. I accepted, but they said they would come with the money. Do you know how many times I have heard that? So in order for me to get my fair dollar amount with the limited time pulling a few parts, I asked for 1300, below an offer for similar parts. NO response.

I have another 300e and will be buying still another one. No one is going to run me rough shod and take advantage of me. I already have had numerous "talkers" back out on parts.

NOTE: Ken says refer to my previous post. I assume the one where I list some parts as being "reserved" You know what, no one sends the money, so I have to put parts back on the block.

My lesson learned: Parts are for sale until I have a reasonable deposit on hand.

If it comes down to it, I will have an entire parts car.

Lee, your version of the story just does not match the facts. We only wanted the parts purchased at the price you set and we accepted, nothing more, nothing less. It was your decision to back out of the deal. Enough said.

Mr Crowe:

You were you wanted to take the whole car, on your timetable, leaving me no chance to get all of the other parts off of it.

And you showed no interest in helping me take them off. I indicated to you in an e-mail that the other party was willing to do just that.

You showed no interest in that compromise... so what was I to do... get up at 4 am Saturday morning and see what I could get off the car before you arrived with your winch?

I am sorry, sir.. my days are usually 12 hours long. I indicated I would need several weekends to get my parts.

I figured at 1300 dollars, I could get up Saturday mornign and get another 5-6 dollars in parts.

It's a shame... that we are both put in this position.... but I have a mint car that is worth in parts much more than someone carting it off under the guise of just needing some seats and the drive train.

Jeez... I'll drop the tranny myself... and have that for the inevitable failure of a unit. They take up little space in my basement area.

That said, I feel bad that this has happened. I am negotiating with another buyer..(who is aware of every move-- I encouraged him to read this) ......

I just parted out a Q45 for 1500... no drive train...no interior, no A/C. These cars are worth good money. I refuse to be run rough shod.

If you and Ken had said...hey man... we'll drive up two hours from Atlanta and the three of us strip your car down (probably 15 man hours).. and we'll take our parts... we would all be good to go... you would even have had great sheet metal and the rear interior. It would have been a nine hour day... I think I even offered to feed you guys, if I recall...

It's not like you were bringing up equipment to pull the drive train... you even asked me to unbolt the seats for you... since I had a buyer for the door switches.

Lee, I guess we just have to agree to disagree. Asking for more money after the deal is set is not a "compromise". It is certainly your right to sell all the parts or the entire car however you desire. I am glad you have another buyer willing to pay your asking price and also help you remove other parts. Good luck.
