1987 300d turbo injection pump timer

I have a new, never installed, IP timer that was not needed when I changed out the vacuum pump. If the cam on the timer is scored, the new pump will not last and Pierburg will not warranty the pump. Please email me at hyw49@cybertrails.com. O.
