Wanted: Lug nut wrench
I have CLK 16" rims on my 1989 300e. However, the car did not come with a lug wrench.
The lug heads seem very large...so in addition to the correct size the "socket" would have to be fairly thin-walled. Anyone have any ideas? |

Lug Wrench
Try a 3/8 inch drive socket(it is probably a 17 but could be larger)...If it works then you can use a 3/8" male by 1/2" female adapter. This will let you use a 1/2" air impact or a 1/2" breaker bar. You might need a very short extension...If this works then I would keep the socket and the the adapter in your trunk...Jim
