does anyone have or know where i can find the dome light from a 123 or 126 that has the integrated map light? i think they are up to model year 1985. here is a picture. thanks

I have one.... but I installed it on my w126. I can look for another one- because you know where I found this one... or if you really want one now I could remove mine.

$30 includings shipping, but when I find another one it'll like $6 + shipping.

Give it a month- I ought to find one or two, and I really like the map function- it is a classy upgrade. BTW- only seen them on w126's.

New flash- they do come on w123's. found a busted up one on a 84 300D. seems like a rarer option.

i was aware of that, that was why i wanted one,

the lights dimensions are the same from the 123 and early 126. i dont believe the light was ever offered when the vehicle was new, i have only seen them after production, up until about 2001 you could buy them from mercedes and any one else who sold Hella products, but now when you give them the part number for the dome light with the map light they say it subs back to the original light without the map light, meaning by their interpretation the part is no longer available new. i may be wrong if so let me know, but i have ordered several from different vendors and when they arrive they are without the map light. fortunately i was able to return them.

map light bonanza- now I have four of them- with one for my sel, so that's three left. one's for carson, one's for veloce, and one's for who PM's me first. $10 plus $5 for shipping/packing finding so $15 shipped to your door. none of them have cracked lens and all are in pretty good shape, but used of course. You'll be happy.
